Shipping & Handling
Sheet metal should be delivered to Thompson Graphix no later than the week before your scheduled start date. Sheet metal not delivered before start date may be delayed for weeks, we can’t push back our other scheduled clients . Bike tins are to be shipped in at least two boxes (one for tank, one for fenders), three boxes for larger bikes (fatboy, heritage, etc..) Clients shipping tins in one box or boxes we deem unsafe for the return ship will be charged a box fee of $5 per box provided by Thompson Graphix. We will not send painted tins back in one box over packed, running the risk of a damaged return. Shipping boxes need at least 2 inches of clearance all around the parts including top and bottom. This insures room for bubble wrap and packing materials. A little extra care in box selection will insure a safe return of your parts. Check with your local Harley Shop for boxes, they may have some from sets being ordered in. If suitable boxes can not be found, do your best and we will return the parts in our boxes for the fee described above. |

Sheet metal
All listings are for Factory Harley Davidson Sheet metal (unless noted on listing or pre-approved by TG). Aftermarket raw sheet metal needs to be known when the estimate is being created since the raw metal tins have additional charges. Clients sending raw aftermarket tins not pre-approved will be charged the extra fees. |

Misc. Fees
Some of the miscellaneous fees you might require: · New shipping boxes or packing materials. · Design changes · Bodywork or prep fees based on damaged tins or bad existing paint that needs to be stripped down. · Aftermarket raw metal tins · Accessories not mentioned during estimate writing such as dash covers, spoilers, inside fairings, etc… · Specialty paints or factory colors and products. · PayPal transaction fees.
It’s important to give details when getting the estimate created so that fees are factored in before and not a surprise once the sheet metal has been sent. |

Pricing
Our pricing is based on our hourly rate. All jobs and procedures have been timed and recorded. We track this information so we know how long it takes to prep a set, or clear coat a set or layout flames on a set, etc…. This eliminates the guess work and insures that we are getting paid for our time and you don’t get over charged. Our current shop labor rate for standard body work and paint is $37.50 per/hour. Airbrushing, design layout and pinstriping is $50 per/hour. |
